I put veggies in the food processor and add them to all kinds of things - meatloaf, bread, you name it. They actually like it better when I do that!

We add cheese, butter or sometimes even a little sour cream to certain veggies. The kids normally eat veggies no problem though, just when they were younger they would refuse to eat them!

Fun giveaway! I just discovered your site today.
Veggies - I'm a big believer in teaching kids to eat them as-is. While I definitely will blend them into other foods whenever I can to boost nutrition, I simply announce - "everyone who finishes their dinner gets dessert!" Done. No fights. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't :)

I love all your recipies! My son is picky. He doesn't really eat vegetables other than potatoes. I like just a tab of butter. (actually "move over butter, not the real stuff)

Although my kids are now older, I can't remember ever needing to 'hide' veggies or smother them with anything. Both of my kids liked their veggies. To this day, my son's favorite are mushrooms and onions.

I follow you via GFC as Mercedes! My son has texture issues and it's difficult to get him to eat veggies. I usually end up blending them and spreading them on toast like peanut butter.

To make vegetable more appealing to my family I add them to salads and put ranch dressing which is something they already love. My kids love salads and adding extra veggies such as broccoli and green peppers makes it healthier.
