In response to comments from my Tooth Fairy post....

Yes the Tooth Fairy did visit. She was just fine using Micayla's jewelry box. I think it made it easier for her - she didn't have to worry about waking Micayla up sliding her hand under the pillow.

Yesterday morning Micayla found a $1.00 bill in her box.

Today she is still worried about what the Tooth Fairy does with the teeth. I told her that I think she builds a castle with them......

Oh good...I am glad that she had a good first experience with the Tooth Fairy:-) That's one of those childhood things you can't miss:-)

I don't remember my kids asking, but my 6-year old is due to lose her first tooth soon, so maybe she will be the one to ask.

The castle idea is kind-of disgusting to me (sorry!), so I might go with the tooth fairy magically changes the tooth INTO the money, or perhaps that the teeth are changed into magical fairy dust.

Regardless... the tooth fairy is a lot of fun!

My kids only cared about how much money they got, and they didn't really care about what happened to the tooth....

That is the perfect response to what the tooth fairy does with teeth. Wish I would have known that when my kids were small. Glad the tooth fairy came through with some funds!

I can't believe your baby is losing teeth already. Mine can't be far behind. I'm off to cry now. But seriously that picture of her is so cute.

How fun! My daughter's teacher told her that when she loses her teeth it means her younger sister is going to get a new tooth. The funny thing is that it has actually worked out that way!

I substituted Micayla's class at church yesterday. The first thing she did was show me that she had lost a tooth. She is just so stinkin cute, I wanted to take her home with me. You've been a spray painting machine. I love your doorknobs, that is such a good idea, I hate my gold ones. I love your little red cabinet thing too, it looks so good. Do you wnat to get together this week???
