SMART Habit Saturday

My goal this week is to finsh organizing my new coupon binder. I think I am really going to like it. I have a 3'' binder full of baseball card sheet protectors. The pages have tabs on them and are organized alphabetically and by catagory. Each coupon gets it's own spot. This way will work for me than my box. I won't have to dig through each cataogy to find the coupons. I can see them right there. I have been folding the coupons in ways that not only display the item but the expiration date so that I can quickly remove the expireds.... Did you know that you can send your expired coupons to military families? They can use them on base for I think up to 6 months past the expiration date.

My other thing that I am working on this week is getting clothes cleaned, hung and tagged for Just Between Friends. If you haven't heard of Just Between Friends..it's great. It a consignment sale that specializes in childrens clothing, gear, and toys. I am selling at the one listed on their website as Layton, Utah - even though it is actually in Farmington, Utah. Not only will I sell clothes here I will also buy everything that my kids need for the summer - with the exception of socks and underwear.... I prefer to buy those new :)

That sale sounds great! If this baby is a boy I'm going to have lots of girl's clothes to get rid of. Let me know how it goes and I will have to go to the next one.

Great job on the coupon org! Sounds like a great system you have there. Good luck getting your stuff ready to sell, and have a SMART week!

The coupon organizer sounds great! Funny though, I live on post & shop at the commissary - I'll have to ask about the expired coupons thing. I don't think I've heard of that. The consignment sale sounds great. They have a local one nearby that I may check out but I don't have enough to sell because I give my kids' clothes away as they outgrow them.
