Last night we went to the Pioneer Day Commemoration Concert. It was the Mormon Tabernacle Choir with The Osmond Family. It was so good!! I really like the Osmonds. They sang and danced around just like they did when they were teenagers. They sang a lot of their songs. Of course Donny sang Puppy Love and Marie sang Paper Roses. They incorporated the Choir into their songs beautifully and with a little humor. It was very touching when they had the 2 oldest brothers join them on stage. They are both hearing impaired and they "sang" along in sign language. It was great --- if you appreciate great music I highly recommend watching it tonight on PBS Channel 11 in Utah or you can watch via the internet here.

I'm so sad, Corwin's parents gave us tickets to go with them and I got sick so Corwin took Mary. Mary was so excited to see the prophet. Corwin said it was an amazing concert, I hate being sick.
That is so cool you got to see them. My mom and my Aunt LOVE the Osmonds. I watched Dancing With the Stars and was very entertained by Marie....but alas, I didn't vote for her. I'm glad their 2 older brothers got to participate with the rest of them...I wish I could sign. I have a friend at work that is supposed to teach me a word a day.....we both get busy and keep forgetting.....
Very glad you got to attend and enjoyed it so much! FYI you can click my link to find a full rebroadcast list under "Pioneer Day Concert" post. Take Care!
Sounds like a great concert. When I was in UT earlier this summer I saw fliers advertizing this.
Dang it! I remember it being announced in church but I totally forgot all about it until Saturday. I guess I'll have to keep an eye on the BYU channel to see if they are showing it.
I loved the concert too! We went on Friday. Thanks for the comment on my blog! I like your family picture.
