Pop'rs

A couple weeks ago I was one of 10 lucky winners, thank you Veggie Mom, to win some Pop'rs. Pop'rs are marketed as a way to get you family (kids) to eat more veggies. I got my 2 flavors of Pop'rs yesterday so I put them to the test. The flavors that we got (my choice) were Taco and Buffalo. I tried them plain and quickly learned why they were called Pop'rs. They are like 'Pop Rocks' - remember those. They taste really good - once you get over how strange they are.

I sprinkled some over the carrots that we had for dinner. Micayla asked why her food was singing. Then when she took a bite she said, "Oh my gosh! My carrots are singing in my mouth." As strange as I thought they were I have to admit they actually worked - the kids ate more carrots then they probably would have anyway.

There are lots of flavors of Pop'rs. I may get some of the sweet flavors - they would be good on ice cream, yogurt, pudding, or cupcakes.

Those sound crazy! My kids LOVE pop rocks, so I may have to get some of these. . .

PS: Look in the mail today or tomorrow for your tickets! Happy Discovery Day! :O) Glad you can use them!

I have never heard of those...interesting. Lucky for my my kids love veggies. So much that is almost all they eat. We have to beg them to eat something else, like meat. Hey I didn't say I was complaining. I will keep these in mind for my nephew. He hates veggies!

P.S. I have a pass to the children's museum. Maybe we could meet up there. Let me know.

I remember when the original pop-rocks were banned! Something about kids choking on them. Now pop-rocks are back so my kids can 'enjoy' them. As for those 'new fangled' Pop're, I'll just have to see.

That's so funny! I never heard of them, but if they make carrots sing in your mouth...well, who am I to say no?
